The bezel setting has been handcrafted to fit the irregular shape exactly, using nice bright 925 Sterling Silver.
The open back lets more light through and enables the energies to flow more freely.
The band is solidly made but also simple. This Amber Nugget has a lovely colour and the setting simply shows it off without distractions.
The apparent hole in the centre is natural, possibly a twig was stuck in the Amber initially.
Amber was formed formed during the Eocene period, approx 44 million years ago, from the copious sap of now extinct Trees. This durable gemstone is soft, warm and natural to the touch. Amber has been prized throughout History for bringing luck, enlightenment and healing ( especially for breathing problems. ) It's also very popular to help babies through the pain of teething ~ we have special small bracelets and necklaces in store for that purpose.
